How do I secure my bathroom towel bar? I’m tired of having to re-assemble it every time I put my towel on!
It’s one of those that hold 2 towels- one above the other- and the bar that consistently comes off is the lower one that fits into 2 holders that are attached to a piece off of the upper one.
I’ve thought maybe putty but it seems that it would cut through that. Glue? Any ideas?
To be CLEAR, it’s NOT coming out of the WALL. That’s fine. It’s the secondary bar that falls out of the slot attached to the main one. There is no hole for a hook or an anchor. Would Cauk work to secure it?
It sounds as though the spread between the wall brackets is too far apart. When installing, I always establish the distance from center-line to center-line before I attach. I would suggest adjusting the one of the brackets or possibly both to narrow the distance, There should be a slot on the bottom of the bracket that is either a small hex head or a small slot screwdriver set screw. Loosen that screw, move inward and retighten. Good luck.
