how to remove self closing hinges?
I needed to remove my front door but im afraid of the pressure generated from the spring. Whats the correct and safe way to remove the hinge?
it has a spring inside that might have to be released with an allen key.
Self closing hinges can be adjusted after they are installed to increase / decrease strength. Simply decrease strength until they have no tension on them before you remove them.
