why is it necessary to replace the x-clamps with screws on my xbox 360?
im trying to fix my xbox and im just wondering why after i put the new thermal glue on , why i cant just put the x-clamps back on the way they were
Well the glue is just an addition protection..
The clams keep the parts from heating up the motherboard.. like a blocker. and if you take them out it will just hurt your xbox.
for even more protection.. put in some rubber washers between the x clamps and the motherboard.
