How to get rid of the smell of a dead animal?
I had a dead oppossum in the wall. Had a guy come and cut the wall open yesterday. Removed the animal as best as possible, of course there was guts all over the place, he scrapped as much of it as possible off the wall. Reselled the wall. Now the odor is not as bad, but still horrible. We have a fan in the only window blowing air out, burning insences, and candles. Even put charcoal on paper plates and in the room. The smell is still there in my only restroom. I need help I can not stand it anymore. Anytime someone goes into the restroom, the smell comes out into the rest of the house. HOw long am I going to have to live with the smell and is there anything I can do to get rid of it faster. Its been about 36 hours since animal was removed and smell still strong. No other animals are in there we already checked.
