How do you attatch a drawer pull knob onto a wall?
I saw a project on a home decorating show where they screwed drawer knobs into the wall to hang curtains from. I bought some knobs from my local hardware store but the screws are seperate and need to be screwed into the knob from behind. Obviously I dont have access from the inside of the wall, so how is this done?
go to local home improvement center and buy screw anchors for drywall, thats how they attached the in the show you saw.this will only cost you about $2.oo then go into the hardware dept. and take a handle with you to show the salesmen or women what you have then ask for a double threaded screw, this will have the threads to screw into handle and have coarser threads on the other end to screw into drywall anchor.(there will be no head on this, it will have 2 differant types of threads on it.) hope you understand this,and it helps you.
