on victorian chests of drawers, were the knobs wooden or ceramic?
porceline, i would like to make my furniture more in keeping to victorian times.
In my Victorian house all the original knobs on the shutters and the door handles were black ‘porcelain, but a lot of Victorian coat hooks and window lifts etc were brass. I dont think there were a lot of wooden knobs, maybe carved handles.
