Is there a project the US government set up to copy all the files on the internet?
I’m not sure if this is a load of crap or actually true, my science teacher told us about a project the government set up that automatically copies ALL files that are created on the internet, and scans them for suspicious activity like terrorist threats, crime, etc. Then suspicious articles of information are reviewed by humans.
Does anyone think this is true? Could this be a new project they set up?
If anyone has more information about this I’d love to read about it, I find it very interesting!

I don’t think saving the whole damn thing is their primary interest.
There are 3rd parties such as the internet archive that do it anyway. And google. The internet is not really that big.
