Hammer Set

whats the best way to remove thin set from sub floor?

I removed the tiles on a job and the thin set was applied to the plywood sub floor. Now I try to scrape it, hit it with a hammer and it won’t budge I even tried to hammer it off with a chipping hammer and it takes out the thin set with the plywood.Anybody have any ideas. Thanks

HOW SMOOTH R U TRYING TO GET IT?
A MESSY & DUSTY WAY IS TO USE A GRINDER WITH A SERRATED MASONRY DIAMOND CUP
IT WILL ALLOW YOU TO TAKE IT DOWN PRETTY SMOOTH.
IF U HAVE A HELPER YOU’LL NEED A GARDEN SPRAYER & WET VAC. HAVE HIM MIST THE GROUT TO LESSEN THE DUST & AS U GRIND IT, HE CAN BE SPRAYING AROUND THE BLADE TO KEEP DUST FROM FLYING AS WELL AS VACUUM AROUND THE BLADE TO CATCH ACCESS DUST & PARTICLES

SHORT OF REPLACING SUB FLOORING ITS ALL GOING TO BE WORK INTENSIVE.
