Why do I have a Safely Remove Hardware Icon on the bottom of my screen, when there is nothing connected?
It says I have a USB Drive or a mass storage device connected. I don’t, and it always shows up when I start my Computer.
It is a USB mass storage Device connected at OEI-USB CF/SM/SD/MS USB Location 0. It also says its a Generic Drive. My computer is a desktop, and it just started doing this.
I have a Lexi mark p707 printer with media card slots, could that be it?
I have cable also, if that helps.
do you have DSL?? If u do thats probably what it is cause i have DSL and i also have the safely remove hardware thing at the bottom of my screen…..it just has to do with yur dsl adapter thing being plugged in i think…
