How can I attach a carabiner to a regular bolt?
How can I attach a carabiner to a bolt installed into solid concrete?
I’m not asking how to attach something into the concrete, but how to attach a carabiner to a regular hex head Tap-Con bolt. Ideally it would be a piece of angled steel that can hold several hundred pounds.
Why would you want to attach it to a regular hex head tap-con bolt? Your obviously not experienced with placing bolts and rock climb. Why not just use a same size climbing bolt, which is made to take the forces of climbing, whereas a hex head tap con is not. You can try putting the bolt through a bolt hanger. I still recommend the climbing expansion bolt.
