hey there what did you collect as a child for a hobby?????????
i collected fancy paper and swapped iy wiyh all my friends.My brother collected marbles of all sizes and beano comics.Myother sister collected key ring’s.. oh those beautiful day’s now it’s firearms and knives
it was many years ago as a child i would collect birds eggs but as a poor defence only 1 egg was ever taken and a marble or stone of about the same size would be placed in the nest in the belief the bird knew how many eggs it had. older &hopefully wiser now i would not condone this practice now but at the time it gave us an interest in nature & in a strange way a respect of wildlife that sadly seems missing in the youth today
