What causes industrial revolutions?
Sub-sahara Africa has resources available to bring them extreme wealth (ie. diamonds & Diamond nanotechnology http://www.nanowerk.com/news/newsid=728.php ) in the near future IF Africa ever crossed the industrialized threshold. Until then they are impoverished.
I think figuring out the cause of other industrial revolutions (especially in other colonized nations) could help give underdeveloped nations the tools necessary to bring themselves into the 21st century. Possibly without the assistance of outside aid.
That’s why I’m asking the question.
