Would the iron gym- pull-up bar destroy my door frame?
I just bought a iron gym pull-up bar and i was wondering if using it would cause my door frame to break? The door frame seems quite steady. I weigh about 128 pounds.
If your door was correctly constructed – it will have no effect on it. The door frame is the most solidily built part of the house, and it is often recommended to head to a door opening or hallway in the case of an earthquake or tornado because of the intregrity of the framing.
