I just bought this spoon/fork/knife set and they seem to leave a funny taste in on my tounge…Why?
I thought it was in my head, but even blindfloded i can tell this set apart from the rest…
You may be tasting the polish from the mfg. Also the machining process uses many types of oil and solvents so you could be tasting those. If you clean them well and still experience the taste it could be the plating itself, in that case I would stop using and return them to the store.
