how do you know a neon tetra fish is dead?
i bought 5 neon tetra fishes today and i went and looked in the night and they were all gathered together just foating in the same spot
If they’re floating at the top of the tank on their sides, then they’re most likely dead, but if they’re floating in the middle of the tank, they’re probably just getting used to the tank, or suffering from high levels of ammonia/nitrites.
A school of six to eight neon tetras will need at least a 20g aquarium. I hope you have what it takes to care for them properly.
