Design Help: Oil rubbed bronze hardware with satin nickel fixtures?
I currently have white six panel interior doors and am looking to replace all of the knobs and hinges to update the look. I really like the look of oil rubbed bronze knobs and hinges with the white doors but the light and bathroom fixtures are satin nickel in most rooms and oil rubbed bronze in the others. Would it look strange having a different finish on the door hardware than the fixtures in some rooms? Suggestions?
No it will work. I suggest you consider changing the faucet in the bathroom to oil rubbed bronze, because people look at, and touch it right after the door handle, so its going to be noticed. You can even find replacement handles in this finish for the toilet. The light fixture is not going to be noticed because no one looks directly into a light when its on. Hope this helps.
