need to build a small, portable wind screen?
ok, i come to the diy experts. need a little help here. i’m trying to build a small, portable windscreen. my plan is to buy a 4′ x 8′ sheet of plywood. cut it into (2) 2 1/2′ pieces, and leaving a 3 foot piece for the back. that way my windscreen will have a back of 3′ and (2) 2 1/2′ sides. what i’m missing is how to attach hinges, and what type of hinges to use. i’d like spefics please. i’d prefer this screen be able to be folded up flat so i can move it. any pointers here? piano hinges, door hinges? i would think for it to be able to fold up flat, the hinge would need to have a full ability to rotate. please help!
