How do I demolish solid wood floors that are glued to concrete.?
I have 3/4 in wood floors glued directly to grade level slab. I need to tear them out to put in a new floor (not glued directly to concrete). any ideas. Right now I am cutting accross the planks with a circulart saw and wrenching them out with a pry bar. Slow work.
you can probably rent a pneumatic hammer chisel with a wide blade and run the chisel at an LOW angle as to not damage the concrete, but get under the glued wood. You will mar the concrete, but the job will go much faster.
Visit a home depot or lowes and see if they have rentals or if they don’t ask if they can direct you to a rental place.
